Full Version : automatic scroll not working
medsupport >>Med Sound Studio Help >>automatic scroll not working

All of a sudden the horizontal automatic scroll, which highlights the section of the song that's being played, doesn't work anymore. I can't find any option to turn it off/on. It does work though when MED is in the background because I turn on the song, go to another program, return to MED and find the scroll highlighting a new section.
This is strange because there is an option to turn the scroll off when MED is inactive. Not even reinstalling MED from the DVD fixes this. I think there may be some bug in the software. If anybody can help me I'd appreciate it.

Problem fixed. I uninstalled it, restarted the computer, reinstalled it and now it works fine. I still think there's a bug in the software, though, so somebody should look into it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I did to create the problem.

trouble is that this is the very first time I have ever
heard about this and so far, no joy in getting it to repeat
the action you described.

What set up are you using?
Also, what programs have you running in the background?
It could merely be a conflict causing this odd behaviour.

At a push id say that was a gfx related problem (ok say it.. ive stated the obvious) biggrin.gif

Anyway try the following

Update gfx drivers

Make sure there's nothing running in the background that could interfere with med while its running I.E

Windows update
Download managers
Make sure virus software isnt doing an auto scan

Things like this will make a diffrence

You 'sure' it's an itchy trigger Blue?

Not only did that happen to me last night, (deleted the second one) but your message was also entered twice, (just deleted it)

It's a "Critical Bug" according to Forumer.com and they are supposed to be fixing it along with others that have cropped up over the weekend. Looks like they might have pi$$ed someone off and got hacked. Wouldn't suprise me as there customer service skills have a long way to go.
