I've been trying to convert/update some old Amiga mods, but I'm having trouble with some of the tempos. Even with 'SPD (old)' selected, most of them play much too slow - usually the ones with F04 or F06 as the tempo.

Does anyone know a quick fix for this, other than trying to match the old tempo with new settings?

Me again; same problem, new set of mods. I've just had all my old Amiga disks loaded onto pc by a mate in France, so I have several hundred mods to update.

I don't fancy going into every one to try and match up tempos and iron out compatibility problems; does anyone have any tips on either getting around this or doing it quickly?

They all play fine on 'Deliplayer', but aren't recognised automatically as Med songs by Med (I have to select 'all file types' to bring up the list)

Any ideas?

One important thing Steve, as you know, I didn't look at them, but now you
mention them not being recognised in the windows version of MED it leaves
me to have my suspicions that they were packed on the Amiga version?

The only Amiga packer the windows version is able to recognise is the
PowerPacker program.

Download the 'MUNPACK' program from the MED website and try that on the
files, I think they are probably packed with the SFCD/SFHD packer which,as
I say, the windows version of MED does not recognise.

(we tried adding that unpacker but could't trace the author to gain permission)

Thanks Ray - will try that as soon as I've worked out how to use Munpack with Windows XP!
