Just registered on this forum and thought I'd let you know about my url for all my own tracks:

www.epicentric.co.uk

I've been into Trackers for nearly 20 years, starting off with ProTracker on the Amiga, spurred on by the great SLL of Kefrens and his MultiMegamix demos (remember them?).

Anyway, I've been working on MED Soundstudio for Windows for five years now, and just bought a top-end Vista PC to pimp my productions. I'm kinda hard to pin down to a genre, but you'll find some house, breakbeat, downtempo, ambient stuff on there, with some remixes of local bands too, so I'm not scared of the odd guitar riff here and there.

Hand-in-hand with Soundstudio, I use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (now Adobe Audition) for post-production to get the definitive end result.

I'd be interested to hear any comments any of this community has on my stuff, as I didn't really know it existed until today.

I'm as passionate about music as I was when I was 16 sitting in my bedroom on the Amiga, so no doubt some of you lot are just as fanatical too :)

Hey Epicentre,

Listening to the 2k5 mix as I'm writing - it sounds great! The vocal section with the heavier drumbeat about 9 minutes in is really nice.

Is it a mix from various sources, or is it all your own stuff?

I remember SLL and the Kefrens, but my main influences at the time were probably Dr Awesome, Fleshbrain and Jester (and before that Rob Hubbard and Martin Galway on the C64). Oh, and Bruno. Did you catch any of the jazz-funk demos he did?

Cheers,

Steve
