Stereo Panning #2 This is where we use the "2E" command for the stereo effect.
In this demo, I've done a basic little tune with a stereo panning effect on the bass line. I have also included another filter (number "24") to reduce clicks on the sample (reduces the band pass to a lower shelf), I'll explain more about this later and how to use it to full effect. This is what I did. First, I entered the bass line onto track one. Then I selected "0000" to "0008" (holding down the left mouse button and keeping it held whilst using the down arrow key until I got to 0008).
Then I went to "Tools>>>Generate Slides" and selected the last one "[2E] Track Pan". In the "Start" side, I entered "-16" into the "Pan Position" box and then in the "End" side, I entered "16" then clicked on "Generate Slide".
I then selected "0008" to "0016" but entered the opposite ("16" in the start - "-16" in the end) and repeated these two steps until the end of the block. What this does is it creates a stereo panning effect.
*Tip > Works better with Mono sounds <.
Note: Using the stereo command can inadvertently increase the samples volume. I recommend that you adjust the samples volume level before doing this.
