I hope it's ok posting a question about V5 here, I didn't know where else to go.
I recently bought an amiga 600 and have managed to get hold of a bit of music software.
I'm having a problem using multiple sounds in octaMED. I can load a sample of a kick for example and can play it through the tracker window. When I load another sample e.g. a snare drum, the new sample replaces the other. It also does this with the built in synth. It's as though I can only play back one sound at a time.
Sorry if I being dumb and missing something but I didn't get any manuals with it and have been trying to work it out for myself.

Been years since I've used V5 but, if you're new to trackers here are a couple of possible solutions (if you're not then I'm teaching you to suck eggs and I don't know what the answer is).

- you need to load each sample into a different slot. From memory, shit+arrow left/right selects the slots between samples. Try loading one, then pressing shit+arrow right, then loading the second.

- one track on the tracker window = 1 exclusive sound channel, so if you play a second note/sample it will cancel the first.
