Hello I shall like(love) that when I play on my synthesizer, when notes register(record) on the block (track)((runway)) and when they are reproduced by the synthesizer...
I shall like(love) it made use my synthetiseur as source(spring) of sounds, I want to see to it that MED SOUNDSTUDIO was only registering(recording) my work svp.
I do not include the instructions for use because that this is in English and I am French...

hi couldnt understand all that, but i think u r having trouble with midi...

well as far as i know (which might not be that far) u need to have the correct midi leads (the sound card i'm using is quite old and has quite a large game controller input built into it this is where my midi leads go) newer computers have usb midi leads available (go into a music store that sells synths) the 'out' on the midi lead plugs into the 'in' on the synth and the 'in' on the midi lead plugs into the 'out' of the synth (midi 'in' and 'out' which should be clearly labelled on your synth (note this is only for older synths as newer synths have (again) usb)

then you will need to select 'midi active' and 'midi input' on the menu.

also you may need to activate the appropriate settings on the synth (like i need to with my yamaha dx-21 but not my korg ds-8 , i just have to make sure my ds-8 is not connected to an amplifier) .

also i have a manual for my dx-21 (which u really need, which i could email anyone who needed it) but none for my ds-8 (could someone get me a copy??)

as for midi output (controlling your synth with med) i am non the wiser.

also i am non the wiser about controlling pitch bends etc from the synth (midi input from the synthesizer). which i hope someone could help with .

p.s (definitely the last thing) u can also sample your synth (or voice or guitar or pet gekko or anything) , i find med crashes (when i try to sample in it ) so i use windows sound recorder and save the sample (recording) , load it into med and edit it (amplify or whatever) from there . hope this blurb helped (also if someone ???
