hi,
I have a problem where i need to run both my registered versions MED Soundstudio 1.0 and 1.7 on m PC, more to the point, i have heaps of stuff written in v1,0 and want to start using v1,7 .
I have used both, and need to keep v1,0 installed due to some more elaborate tracks that aquire subtle differences when played in 1.7

I have installed both.
If i register one, the other reverts to unregistered.
Is there a way to have both registered??

thanks in advance,
Ht

hi,
I have a problem

As we cannot find your email address as a reg user, (we will
need more than this anyhow), you will need a specific reply
from Ray (he obviously needs to check a few things with you),
you need to obtain a personal reply so please browse to
the website and select the reg users help section on the
upper right of the page.

Hello again,

thanks very much for the reply, and sorry for the delay,

A few days after i noticed the reg issue, my PC started to crash, so, rather than make further assumptions, i did the whole re-install xp process and monitored the results.

The initial result was the same, i install v1.0 then register.
i then install 1.7 and register it aswell.

If i then open v1.0, i need to re-enter my keys, But, so far, after
having done this, they appear to both work ok.
The only exception is that the Register/Trial menu still exists in v1.7, and since its not been 30 days(i think is the trial period) i dont know
if it will come back and hastle me when the period runs out.

So, ill wait, and not bother ray unless really necessary, thanks for the options though. I cant even remember the email address i registered v1.0 in, but my 1.7 keys use my name "Alex Thomas" followed by my suburb and postcode in Australia, which i wont post here but am more than happy to provide if need be.

I must say, having now fired up 1.7 im giong to try to finish all 1.0 tracks and stick with 1.7. Im not completely sure of the exact differences between the 2 versions, but my average track uses at least 6 sample tracks and around 20 midi tracks for usually about 5 softsynths, and im sure the samples have superior reproduction in 1.7, and still with the smoothness of the editor during playback, this program only gets better ! cant wait to see V2 smile.gif

thanks again~~

Did you actualy download the registered users version??

The link was given in the original welcome message.

Anyhow, I will ask Ray to send you a reminder email
with the link as it sounds like you are still using the
trial version of 1.7 which may be causing a clash
with the keys.
