Hi,
I have sort of a problem here. April 2008 I purchased v1.7a of Med Soundstudio. I received some temporary keys which I used. Then I was emailed permanent keys when my payment cleared. I didn't put the new keys in when I got them so I stopped using the software for quite a while. Well earlier this year I came home and found that we were experiencing brownouts for hours due to a careless person who installed new digital electric meters on our building. My PC had been starting and then losing power and then restarting again ad nauseum for hours. Needless to say my operating system was trashed. I reinstalled Windows on my system. I was looking through some old data and found some of my old MED modules which reminded me about the PC version I bought. I installed it and found that my permanent key no longer works. Apparently it was tied to my old Windows installation. Is there anything that can be done? Please and thank you. |

An email will be sent to you today Ray PS This forum is great for users to get advice and help/suggestions from fellow users, (it's main purpose), but for serious problems like this, you will get a quicker response via the MED Mailer as your post would be automaticaly sent to me. To join, browse to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MED_Soundstudio Due to many spam attacks sent to our old e-mail links this is now the quickest way to get help directly from the authors. As I said, this Forum is for general requests for help/advice posted by users. -------------------- |

Hello Craig, Did you follow the info given to graffias? ie., browse to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MED_Soundstudio Another perhaps, quicker way to get help is by browsing to: http://www.soundstudio.info/ enter the Windows v2 area and on the right of the screen you will see "Registered Users" - "Having Problems with your keys?" Select that. Ray PS Although it says "having trouble with your v2 keys", if we still have your keys on record we will re-post them to you. Note that I say "if", it depends how long ago you registered your v1.xx as we only retain keys for a year, so you 'might' be out of luck, but it's worth a try. "Why only a year?" I hear you say, because although we retain the reg users e-mail details, we only retain a copy of the actual large email sent to a new reg user containing his/her generated keys for that length of time. -------------------- |
